Kanye West And Kim Kardashian Divorce Rumors Shot Down

This past week, there were reports that Kanye West and Kim Kardashian were on the verge of divorce. Celebrity Dirty Laundry started the rumors.

“Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s divorce was put on hold while the couple travelled to Kim’s motherland Armenia, and then on to Jerusalem, and Paris…It turns out that Kim Kardashian and Kanye’s marriage-saving pilgrimage actually had the opposite effect on their relationship – and insiders are reporting that by the end of the voyage Kimye was fighting tooth and nail with one another.”

Usually, when one uses “insiders” or “unnamed sources” to report something, it isn’t true. And once again, Gossip Cop has dispelled the false story about Kanye West and his wife.

“In other words, CDL just wanted to use the word ‘divorce’ as much as possible without actually providing any evidence for an impending divorce, and using half the article to explain why the couple will NOT get divorced. Whatever. This is Celeb Dirty Laundry. Back in February, the site claimed West and Kardashian were getting divorced because she’d gotten a short haircut. We couldn’t make up this garbage if we tried. A source close to the situation tells Gossip Cop the latest report is totally false.”

Then again, Gossip Cop didn’t quite name their “source,” but their takedowns of completely false stories has been legendary. Perhaps, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian may get a divorce sometime in the future, but it’s definitely not happening now. Meanwhile, Kanye West is most likely celebrating that he is on one of Time Magazine‘s new covers. The magazine heralded West as a boundary breaker.

“Kanye West would be the first person to tell you he belongs on this list. The dude doesn’t believe in false modesty, and he shouldn’t. Kanye’s belief in himself and his incredible tenacity—he performed his first single with his jaw wired shut—got him to where he is today. And he fought for his place in the cultural pantheon with a purpose.”

In the same article, Kanye West appeared to praise his own self-importance.

“Every time I crash the Internet, it’s like this little drop of truth. Every time I say something that’s extremely truthful out loud, it literally breaks the Internet. So, what are we getting all of the rest of the time?”

Kanye West has received a lot of criticism this year, especially when he almost interrupted the Grammy Awards when Beck won the award for Album of the Year instead of Beyoncé. It appears, however, that no backlash will ever stop Kanye West from talking.
