WWE News: The Miz To Be Written Off Television On ‘Monday Night RAW’?

In preparation for WWE Studios newest movie Santa’s Little Helper, former WWE champion The Miz is expected to be written off television on next weeks’ edition of Monday Night RAW, according to LordsofPain.

Miz, 34, is scheduled to compete against Damien Mizdow next week in a match that will determine who will be allowed to use the “Miz” likeness going forward. Therefore, it’s likely that Miz will be written off in some way pertaining to that match. However, if Miz is taken off television, it will stall his next reported feud.

As reported by the Inquisitr recently, the newly called up Neville, formerly known as “Adrian Neville,” was scheduled to engage in a feud with The Miz sometime this spring. Although it doesn’t mean that feud is completely scrapped, it will put it off for the foreseeable future as Miz films the movie.

In addition to The Miz, his co-star for the movie, current WWE diva Paige, was already written off television this past week on RAW. She came out victorious in a divas battle royal set to determine the next No. 1 contender for the Divas championship. However, things took a turn for the worse after the match.

The former two-time Divas champion was assaulted by Naomi, turning the former “Funkadactyl” heel in the process. WWE reported that Paige suffered internal injuries from the attack and was advised to not compete until further notice.

Paige tweeted out her appreciation for the fans support.

This isn’t the first time that Miz will be partnering with a WWE diva on a movie as he recently starred alongside Summer Rae in The Marine 4: Moving Target. It’s the fourth installment in the Marine series and the second time Miz has starred in the series.

The project has been brought up and used in storyline on television in recent weeks, even leading to The Miz’s nemesis Mizdow making out with Rae in the ring.

There is no specific timetable for the duo in regards to how much time the movie will cause them to miss. But filming for WWE studios films usually takes anywhere from three-to-six weeks. Therefore, expect Miz and Paige to be absent from WWE television until at least mid-May.

The movie is scheduled to be released this holiday season. The project will be straight-to-DVD as it’ll be available for purchase on Digital HD, Blu-Ray, and DVD.
