The movie-world reacted uproariously to Leto’s picture, which appears to confirm that the actor’s interpretation of the Joker has been inspired by the renowned graphic novel The Killing Joke.
This picture comes just a few days after Jared Leto recreated a famous image from the novel while he was spending time with director David Ayer, who is overseeing Suicide Squad.
Which was eerily similar to this picture.

Jared Leto has spent the last few weeks transforming his appearance ahead of his portrayal of the Joker, while it’s also been suggested that he’s been practicing his voice as the character while appearing on stage with his band Thirty Seconds To Mars.
Meanwhile, last month Jared Leto interrupted an interview that he was conducting with Billboard magazine, via Screen Rant, to reveal that he was attempting to beef up for the part. Leto asked his interviewer, “Do you mind if I eat a little? I’m trying to gain a lot of weight. It means I have to eat every couple of hours — and I’m terrible at eating a lot.”
David Ayer has stepped up his Suicide Squad announcements over the last few weeks, as the blockbuster enters production ahead of its release on August 5, 2016.
