Zachary Quinto Returns To American Horror Story For A Second Season

Zachary Quinto will return for a second season of American Horror Story with a bigger role than last season in which he played Chad, a Harmon’s house resident. While Quinto’s character, Chad, only appeared in four episodes of season one, his role was memorable enough to leave some viewers (myself included) dying for more. Fortunately for those of us that simply can’t get enough of Zachary Quinto in Brad Falchuk and Ryan Murphy’s FX horror-drama series, it appears as if we’re in for a treat in the upcoming season as Quinto takes on one of two lead male roles.

Quinto’s appearance in season 1 of AHS comes as no surprise to those who realize the connection between Quinto and Ryan Murphy (the two of whom are friends), however, it is possible that his now imminent return to season 2 was fueled by the critical praise he received for his 4-episode arc. The actor was quoted in an online interview saying:

“I had an amazing time and I only did four episodes of the season, so it was just a little bit of an appetizer for me; I would love to work more”

Some reports claim that Star Trek actor Zachary Quinto‘s new role in American Horror Story’s second season will be that of an entirely new character which will play the part of Jessica Lange’s nemesis. Playing an evil role like that of the nemesis is not a far stretch from one of Quinto’s more memorable roles as Sylar from NBC’s hit series Heroes. That said, I’m certainly looking forward to seeing Zachary Quinto once again filling the shoes of the villain and can’t wait for his return in the second season of American Horror Story.
