'Avengers: Age Of Ultron': Watch Never Before Seen Footage Of This Summer's Epic Iron Man Vs. Hulk Battle

The imminent showdown between the Hulk and Iron Man is one of the most highly anticipated fights of the forthcoming summer movie season, and the good folks at Marvel have let slip a sneak peek at the epic battle as the countdown to Avengers: Age of Ultron continues. Marvel hasn't leaked the entire fight just yet, but the House of Ideas has let slip just enough to whet the appetites of Avengers fans worldwide.

The new trailer popped up on Comic Book Resources' YouTube page on Sunday, and it gives us a glimpse into just the kind of odds the Avengers will be facing when Age of Ultron hits the screen in just a few weeks. Contrary to what some have speculated before, it looks like the Hulk-Iron Man throwdown will stem from some mind-meddling, courtesy of the Scarlet Witch. In fact, this scene might happen early in the course of Age of Ultron, as we've already seen scenes with Iron Man and Captain America bickering over the way that the Scarlet Witch and her brother Quicksilver were able to take down the Avengers.

As for the fight itself, we don't get the entire battle between the two Avengers, but there's definitely enough destruction and mayhem going on that fans will be all the more eager to feast their eyes on Age of Ultron. Aside from Tony Stark's Hulkbuster armor, fans will also catch a glimpse of a kind of floating armory that Stark has at his disposal. When the initial Hulkbuster armor is damaged, it's no problem for Stark, as he's got a repository floating overhead to provide him with a new arm.

Stark seems pretty well prepared to take down – or at least take on – the Hulk, and it may be the case that the Avengers' resident genius has more tools and armor in store just in case others among his teammates decide to go rogue.

This is pretty well in keeping with Tony Stark's persona in the Marvel comics, and that willingness to build countermeasures for his comrades' abilities could well be the sort of thing that leads into next year's Captain America: Civil War. It's not too far a stretch to presume that Stark's fellow Avengers will be a bit miffed that he's come up with ways to take them all down if need be.

Avengers: Age of Ultron is set to hit theaters at the beginning of next month, and the next installment in the Avengers series will lay the groundwork for an entirely new chapter in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This summer will also bring the debut of Ant-Man, in what looks to be Marvel's first heist-comedy offering, while next year will bring Captain America: Civil War, which will likely see the debut of not only the Black Panther, but also fan-favorite Spider-Man.
