’16 and Pregnant’ Star Receives Offers From Adult Entertainment Companies Following Prostitution Arrest
While not all 16 and Pregnant cast members manage to land a spot on the Teen Mom spin-offs, many of the girls maintain a large fan base after their episodes air. However, some end up staying out of the spotlight until something happens. That seems to be the case with Valerie Fairman, who appeared on the second season of the hit MTV show.
Although she came from the season that produced the Teen Mom 2 spin-off, Valerie was not picked as a cast member. Rather, her 16 and Pregnant co-stars Kailyn Lowry, Leah Messer, Jenelle Evans, and Chelsea Houska landed those roles. Valerie’s life, however, was not chronicled, and she instead went on to make some decisions that ultimately led her to get in some trouble.
Most recently, Valerie Fairman was arrested for prostitution in Delaware. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Valerie had been arrested in a sting along with a few other women. She served some prison time, but according to the Ashley’s Reality Roundup, Valerie was released on March 31. The one-time reality show star is now on parole. However, that isn’t the craziest part of the story. According to the Ashley, while in prison, the 16 and Pregnant star received some very interesting offers.
While in prison, several adult entertainment companies reportedly reached out to the former reality show star. It seems that the companies wanted to use her 16 and Pregnant fame as a marketing ploy to bring in an audience. Farrah Abraham, who appeared on the show, as well as Teen Mom, appeared in her own adult film, Backdoor Teen Mom, and the decision, although highly controversial, helped to land Farrah an entirely new fan base and career. However, while Farrah may have been okay with making that decision for her life, Valerie Fairman reportedly isn’t interested in working in the adult entertainment business.
Rather than jump into a career in the adult entertainment industry, Valerie is more concerned with getting her life on the right track. She has some addiction issues that she is trying to overcome, and she has a lot of support to make that happen. Not only that, but she will reportedly be enrolling in an “inpatient treatment facility.” This is not only to help her get clean but is also part of her parole.
MTV is set to bring back 16 and Pregnant for a sixth season of the show. There has not been any word about a Teen Mom 4 based off of the most recent crop of girls to be featured on the show. An air date for the new season has not been revealed.
