Vonn Surprises Tiger: Golfer Gets Sweet Visit From Lindsey Vonn, His Kids At The Masters

Lindsey Vonn surprised Tiger Woods at The Masters Preview Day on Tuesday, showing up on the green with his two children in tow. According to Us Weekly, Vonn, 30, arrived at the Augusta National Golf Club on April 7, bringing Sam, 7, and Charlie, 6, to see their dad.

“The Olympic athlete has been spending time with the kids since she started dating Woods in early 2013,” reports Us Weekly, adding that Woods and his ex-wife Elin Nordegren share custody of the two children. The kids will be in town for the duration of the week, and seemed to have a great time as they caddied for their dad on Wednesday.

“It’s nice to be able to share these things with my family, and it just means the world to me. They are excited, I’m excited and can’t wait to go out there,” Woods said.

Vonn surprised Tiger with Tuesday’s visit, and will be staying in town to support her beau while he competes in the golf championship. According to Sport Act, Tiger hasn’t participated in the Par-3 course since 2004. He previously said that he wouldn’t compete in that contest until his children were old enough to attend. Evidently, the time has come.

According to The Scotsman, Woods was really looking forward to The Masters this year, and he has put in a lot of effort to prepare himself.

“People would never understand how much work I put in to come back and do this again. It was sun up to sun down. When the kids were at school I’d be doing it. When the kids were asleep, I’d still be doing it. So it was a lot of work,” he said.

While he’s focused on his golf game, a lot of people have been focused on his relationship with Lindsey Vonn. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, there were several rumors that the two were going to marry on Valentine’s Day, but that never happened. Vonn spent most of her winter skiing while Woods prepared himself for this very week. Despite the endless rumors, Vonn and Woods have tried to keep their relationship as private as possible, something Lindsey says has been tricky.

“It’s been tough. Having your life on display is never easy, but what I think connects us so well is sports and trying to be No. 1 in what we do. We have so much in common in that regard. We always come back to that. We always have roots. And no matter what anyone has to say around us, we know who we are and that’s all that matters.”
