Blake Lively thinks that her husband has his eye on another woman, and she has photographic evidence that Ryan Reynolds is smitten with this extremely popular celebrity. However, Blake doesn’t seem too worried that Ryan will leave her for his other love.
According to People, Blake Lively recently shared the Instagram photo below that shows Ryan Reynolds making eyes at Helen Mirren. In the photo’s caption, she joked about her hushand’s cute crush on his Woman in Gold costar.
“Should I be concerned that my husband’s never looked at me this way?… #WhereAreThoseEyesWanderingReynolds #HelenMirrenIStheSexiestWomanAlive #WomanInGold”
Ryan’s feelings are mutual — during a recent interview with People, Helen Mirren just couldn’t gush enough about her handsome costar.
“Ryan just makes you feel so great. He’s just so generous in his masculinity. He happens to be hunky and gorgeous and everything as well, but when you get a beautiful combination of the two? He is wonderful.”
Blake Lively’s Insta-joke about Reynold and Mirren’s admiration for one another was a great promo for their new movie, which opened in theaters on Friday. According to the New York Daily News, Woman in Gold “chronicles the true story of an elderly Jewish woman, Maria Altmann (Helen Mirren), who enlists a struggling lawyer (Ryan Reynolds) to fight the Austrian government to win back the titular Klimdt painting that belonged to their family.” Orphan Black star Tatiana Maslany plays the younger version of Helen Mirren in the movie.
Blake Lively is also starring alongside a crush-worthy living legend of her own in her latest movie, The Age of Adaline. According to Screenrant, Blake plays a young woman who discovers that she doesn’t age after being involved in a car accident. The movie also stars 72-year-old Star Wars hottie Harrison Ford as an old friend of Adaline’s who is shocked when he runs into the ageless beauty decades after her accident. Adaline’s secret immortality causes more problems after she falls in love with someone, and that someone just happens to be played by Tatiana Maslany’s Orphan Black costar Michiel Huisman. The Age of Adaline hits theaters on April 24.
Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds aren’t just busy promoting their intriguing new movies — they’re also dealing with diaper duty and sleepless nights. As the Inquisitr previously reported, the cute couple are the proud parents of a baby girl who is not named Butternut Summersquash. Blake and Ryan chose a nice, normal name for their daughter, but there’s a twist — it’s a moniker that’s usually reserved for males. After trying to keep it a secret for as long as possible, Ryan finally revealed that he and Blake decided to name their daughter James.
Maybe Helen Mirren should offer to babysit little James so that Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds can enjoy a much-needed date night together — it’s the least Helen can do after making Blake worry by temporarily stealing her husband’s attention.
