Bobbi Kristina Brown Update: Was Nick Gordon Involved in Whitney Houston’s Death?

As Bobbi Kristina Brown continues to fight for her life at Atlanta’s Dekalb Medical hospital, speculation surrounding the details of her condition continue to surface. Nick Gordon, already under suspicions of playing a part in Brown’s medically-induced coma, is now under scrutiny for the death of Whitney Houston, who was found unconscious in a hotel bathtub in 2012, in an eerily similar fashion as her daughter.

Since the day Brown was found unresponsive in a bathtub in her Roswell, Georgia, townhouse on January 31, her boyfriend, Gordon, has faced criticism from family, friends, and authorities, including the Roswell Police Department, which stated that the incident has “always been under criminal investigation.”

Although Gordon isn’t currently charged with any offense in the Brown case, Bobbi was found in a way so similar to Houston’s 2012 incident that rumors surfaced that Gordon may be responsible for the “accidental overdoses” of both mother and daughter.

Gordon, 25, who allegedly moved in with Houston when he was a teenager, was reportedly present the day Houston died from heart complications and cocaine use on February 11, 2012, according to a March interview between his mother, Michelle Gordon, and Dr. Phil.

“As we sit here right now, my son’s life hangs in the balance. When Whitney was found, he administered CPR to her and called me as he was standing in front of her saying, ‘Mom, why couldn’t I do it? I couldn’t get air into her lungs.’ He won’t let go of the guilt.”

Prior to her death, Houston was staying at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California, for a pre-Grammy Awards party, hosted by Clive Davis. In Houston’s last public appearance on February 9, 2012, she attended a rehearsal for the pre-Grammy Awards party, but only two days later, was found unconscious in a hotel bathtub.

Nick was also present, and also attempted to perform CPR, on a comatose Bobbi Kristina Brown. In addition, both Brown and Houston had excessive amounts of drugs in their system. The likeness of the accidents have many people questioning if he supplied both Houston and Bobbi with too many drugs.

Other speculations indicate that Gordon physically abused Bobbi Kristina, and subsequently set her up in a bathtub to make it seem as if she were suicidal and wanted to leave the world the way her mother did. Brown was marked with several unusual cuts and bruises when she was admitted to Atlanta’s Emory Hospital in January.

Although Bobby Brown’s sister, Leolah Brown, never outright said that Gordon was responsible for either incident, she recently indicated that she feels that Bobbi Kristina’s current condition is not accidental.

“It was someone’s intention to put [Bobbi Kristina] where she is right now. That, I do believe.”

Meanwhile, family members of Bobbi Kristina Brown continue to face the hard decision of whether to allow her to remain on life support or not. So far, her condition since January 31 hasn’t improved much.
