‘Star Wars Battlefront’ Gameplay Will Also Be Shown Alongside The First Trailer, Dates And Times Revealed

As the Inquisitr had previously reported, video game fans will finally get their first true glimpse of Electronic Arts’ upcoming Star Wars Battlefront title later this month during Star Wars Celebration. Offering more details on what exactly they plan to show during the official Star Wars convention, the publishing giant confirmed this week that they will be premiering the first full trailer for Star Wars Battlefront to the world later this month. Those who are unable to actually attend the upcoming convention will still be able to view the trailer online as Electronic Arts plans to post the video on the official EA Star Wars Twitter account.

“The debut #StarWarsBattlefront trailer is coming 4/17 at 10:30AM PT watch it first on @EAStarWars”

In addition to showing off the first trailer for Star Wars Battlefront, Electronic Arts announced that they will also be showing off the actual gameplay footage of the game during Star Wars Celebration. This will give player their first chance to see how EA and DICE are handling the return of the popular Battlefront franchise.

“But that is not all… All attendees will have a chance to see gameplay behind closed doors during the show at our official booth along with a few other activities starting that Friday.”

While the gameplay reveal for Star Ware Battlefront is said to only be available to those in attendance at conference, the publisher stated that they won’t completely leave the rest of the world completely in the dark. Alongside the hands-off demonstrations, EA also plans to unveil other tidbits about Star Wars Battlefront throughout the day via their official social networking channels.

“Not going to the show? We know fans of Star Wars Battlefront span the entire globe, so we definitely do not want to leave you out in the cold without a tauntaun. Make sure to watch our official EA Star Wars channels and website during the show to be among the first to see our official reveal trailer and to learn more about Star Wars Battlefront.”

Exactly what else Electronic Arts plans to reveal about Star Wars Battlefront is completely unknown at this time. Thankfully, however, fans of the classic Battlefront franchise will only have to wait until later this month to find out more.

Star Wars Battlefront will release later this season. EA plans to launch the game in the holiday season to coincide with the upcoming theatrical release of Star Wars Episode VII. The return to the Battlefront franchise will be the first Star Wars game released by Electronic Arts since they acquired the exclusive gaming rights to the sci-fi IP from Disney.
