‘RHONY’ Star Kristen Taekman Gives Brandi Glanville Support During ‘RHOBH’ Reunion Airing

While most of the housewives on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills don’t think too highly of Brandi Glanville, there is one housewife who loves her. As part one of the season 5 reunion show aired on Tuesday night, Kristen Taekman, one of the stars of The Real Housewives of New York City, tweeted Brandi some support.

Kristen wrote that she has seen the good in Brandi for 15 years now and still sees the good in her. Kristen added that she loves Brandi. Brandi clearly appreciated the support since she retweeted Kristen’s tweet.

While some people did commend Kristen for being such a loyal friend to Brandi, many others questioned why Kristen would be friends with someone like Brandi. They also wondered if Kristen has ever had to deal with Brandi the way her co-stars have.

“Love you Kristen, but even u have to admit her behavior is horrible.”

“Ummm did you WATCH #RHOBH? Thought you were smarter than that Kristen.”

“Really? U think Brandi is a good person, makes good decisions & is kind? Would u want your daughter 2 grow up 2 be like her?”

“Kristen- have she hit u or put a drink in ur face? U need new friends! my heart breaks for u.”

“Has she ever slapped you? #RHOBH.”

Some people even used Kristen’s tagline from the previous season of her show, “I may not be the sharpest tool in the shed..but I’m preeeeetty,” as an explanation for her friendship with Brandi, chalking up the friendship to Kristen’s low intelligence.

As Brandi Glanville explained on the reunion show, she has been good friends with Kristen Taekman for years now. Kristen joined The Real Housewives of New York City on season 6 and will be seen again on the show’s upcoming seventh season, which premiers on Tuesday, April 7. Brandi, accompanied by her The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-star Yolanda Foster, actually showed up in an episode last season to have lunch with Kristen and Carole Radziwill.

In November 2013, Page Six reported that Kristen actually got the attention of executive producer Andy Cohen when she accompanied Brandi to a Bravo event.

“Kristen Taekman, a native of Farmington, Conn., went with Glanville to the Bravo ‘upfront’ promotion earlier this year and started chatting with producer Andy Cohen, who immediately asked, ‘Why aren’t you on Real Housewives?'”

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Brandi recently commented about Kristen’s drama with returning New York City housewife Bethenny Frankel.

“[Bethenny] kinda brings like the OG back, except for the fact that she’s giving my best friend a little bit of a hard time on the show! Kristen’s a sweet girl but she can’t deal with Bethenny.”
