WWE News: Huge Potential Spoiler For ‘WrestleMania’ Main Event, Brock Lesnar Retaining WWE Title?
Brock Lesnar wasn’t live at Monday Night RAW last night, but did make an impact on the WWE Universe. Michael Cole interviewed him and Lesnar continued to be very candid in the interview. It got so intense that WWE fans were actually believing what Lesnar was saying. Of course, Lesnar won’t go to UFC with the WWE World Heavyweight championship, but Lesnar’s words meant something.
The “Beast Incarnate” also said the “F” word during the pre-taped spot. WWE editors bleeped it out, but still, the use of the word showed Lesnar’s intensity and passion for destruction.
An hour later, Paul Heyman went out to cut another 10-star promo, which helped sell the main event of WrestleMania even more. Speaking of the grand event in less than two weeks, the WWE Universe still isn’t sold on it, apparently.
At last glance, tickets for WrestleMania are still for sale. Last year, the entire event sold out in hours. Is it the inevitable result of Roman Reigns winning the WWE World Heavyweight championship that most people questioning going?
The Inquisitrreported last week that Brock Lesnar might have secretly signed a WWE deal. With this next update, that certainly looks like a great possibility. According to MetsFan4Ever, WWE insider on Reddit, huge spoilers may have come out regarding the main event at WrestleMania. It doesn’t include a victory by Roman Reigns.
“the word going around Tuesday night’s SmackDown tapings is that Brock Lesnar is very close to signing a new contract with WWE. The deal would be similar to his current deal, with Lesnar presented presented as a special attraction making limited appearances.
The big news is that Triple H is reportedly trying to sell Vince McMahon on the idea of Brock Lesnar retaining the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania. This scenario would also have implications on two other WrestleMania matches.”
If this were to happen, the WWE would have John Cena defeat Rusev and Daniel Bryan win the Intercontinental championship. That way, both mid-card belts will not belong to the mid-card anymore. That will solely fix the problem of the belts having no prestige. While Brock Lesnar is away, those two will main event the shows.
After going through the scenario of Lesnar retaining the WWE title numerous times, that would surprise the WWE fans the most. Seth Rollins does not need to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase. His match with Randy Orton will be great, plus, he has until July to cash it in. By that time, if the WWE wants to have Reigns win it and start a feud with Rollins, they can. Or, the WWE can have Lesnar keep the WWE championship for 435 days, then drop it. Does that ring a bell?
