Eva Mendes Joins Instagram, Posts About ‘New York & Company’ Clothing Line, CIRCA Beauty

There’s something unusual about Eva Mendes’ new Instagram account when you first visit her page. That’s because the Eva Instagram account is so new, Mendes only has three adorable photos loaded thus far (as of this writing), and apparently those aren’t enough for Instagram to create the collage of photos that users are accustomed to viewing on more well established Instagram pages. Eva does have 109,000 followers and counting upwards, however, which should make for a nice start to the upcoming business ventures that Mendes plans to embark upon.

“Taking to Instagram to keep you posted on my clothing line for @nyandcompany and CIRCA Beauty (@realcircabeauty), a cosmetics line I have coming out at Walgreens. I thought this picture might be a good way to start. 38 years later and still holding strong on the head wrap comeback. x”

That was the caption to the post displaying a young Eva wearing a head scarf and looking cute as a chubby little toddler standing next to a tree for her first ever Instagram post three days ago. Eva joining Instagram has won her kudos from sites like MTV, who praises the A-list celebrity for posting the cutest photos ever.

For her second and third posts on Instagram, Eva posted a photo of a beautiful mysterious woman wearing a head wrap — and Mendes seemed amazed when the Instagram followers were quickly able to tell her that the woman’s name was Karla Deras.

“Instead of ‘no pants subway day’ can we please have a dress like this girl day? Dang insta, you’re fast. Mystery woman revealed! @karla_deras Karla, You’re my hero. Keep up the good fight. Here’s the full picture of her outfit. Because it’s worth it.”

Hopefully joining Instagram and undertaking new clothing and cosmetic ventures will dispel reports of Mendes suffering from postpartum depression, as reported by the Inquisitr. Ryan Gosling has gushed about Eva and Esmeralda, however, reports Us Magazine.

While New York & Company is pretty well known among fashion-forward women who love their tall options in jeans and skirts for women with long legs, the CIRCA Beauty page on Instagram has yet to have any posts. A search for CIRCA Beauty on Walgreen’s website does return 26 results and an image of Mendes for the line of beauty products that are reasonably priced and will no doubt attract women looking for makeup that compliments olive skin tones similar to Eva’s skin.
