Suge Knight Arrested for Marjuana Possession

Former Death Row Records head Suge Knight was arrested yesterday in Las Vegas after being found with a small amount of a controlled substance, police said.

According to Las Vegas Metro police, Knight, 46, was pulled over Wednesday evening after making an unsafe lane change while driving his Bentley.

When police ran Knight’s name through their system, it came to their attention that the music mogul had three outstanding warrants – coincidentally stemming from several additional traffic violations and infractions.

When police searched the vehicle, they found a small amount of marijuana. Knight was taken to a nearby jail for processing and was released later in the day.

Suge, whose birth name is Marion Knight, Jr, is infamous for his numerous legal troubles. He was arrested in May of 2010 for assault with a weapon and is currently on three-year unsupervised probation for driving on a suspended license.

While there have been no reports yet as to how the recent arrest will impact his probation, it’s more than likely the violation will earn Suge Knight some time behind bars.
