Dame Dash’s ‘Breakfast Club’ Interview Is Talk Of Twitter: ‘No More Jay Z Questions!’ [Video]

There’s another interview with Power 105.1’s Breakfast Club that’s going viral, and this time, it’s not about Kanye West.

This time, the Breakfast Club interview involves 43-year-old hip-hop entrepreneur Damon “Dame” Dash.

The combative way that Dame spoke with The Breakfast Club members — especially when asked about his relationship with Jay Z — has caused the first part of the interview to gain more than 500,000 views on YouTube in about a day, having been uploaded on March 13. As of this writing, YouTube ranks the Dame interview video as the second most popular out of 200 trending videos..

Questions about Dash’s former Roc-a-Fella Records business partner seemed to have set off a storm of emotions brewing at the surface in Dame, who complained that he has only seen Jay Z two times in the past 15 years, and that he’s tired of fielding questions about a man who is no longer relevant in his everyday life. Dame then turns and asks the female member of The Breakfast Club why men care so much about other men, in a manner that seems to deflect from his angry and hurt emotions over the topic. The talk became so heated that Dame finally declared, “No more Jay Z questions” during the latter part of the interview, reports HipHopDX?.

Dash’s recent interview made him a trending topic on Twitter today, with folks falling on either side of criticism or praise for the man.

Aside from his business engagements, Dame is also known for having a close relationship with singer Aaliyah prior to her death in a plane crash in 2001.
