Prison Photos: Joe Giudice Reportedly Sold Photos Of Wife Teresa Behind Bars To Us Weekly

The prison photos taken of The Real Housewives of New Jersey‘s Teresa Giudice were allegedly sold by her husband, Joe.

According to a March 11 report by Real Mr. Housewife, Joe took the prison photos of his wife behind bars, and auctioned them off to Us Weekly for a reported $100,000.

A source told the site that the photos are expected to appear on the cover of Us Weekly magazine this coming week, and were sold in an effort to pay off the Giudice’s substantial restitution bill.

“Joe, Teresa’s husband is the one who sold the photos! They are desperate to make money in any way possible.”

As fans will recall, the Giudices were sentenced to serve time behind bars during their October 2014 sentencing hearing. Also at the hearing, they were ordered to repay their debt.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, news of Giudice’s prison photos hit the web earlier this week. On March 9, a source revealed the following of Giudice’s prison photos to Radar Online.

“In the photos, she is dressed in the light brown prison outfit that she is required to wear. She isn’t wearing make-up, either. Her hair looks a little knotted.”

The source also claimed Giudice could face serious consequence for allowing someone to take prison photos of her, when cell phones are off-limits during visitation.

“You can be assured that the prison and its warden is going to be furious when these images are published! It could have serious consequences for Teresa.”

Giudice entered prison on January 5 to serve a 15-month sentence for charges of bank and wire fraud. When her sentence is complete, her husband, Joe, will serve a 41-month sentence.

As she serves time behind bars, Giudice has been getting regular visits from her family, including Joe and their four daughters. However, as Radar Online’s source pointed out, her soon-to-be-released prison photos could prove troublesome for the reality star.

Since Giudice is aware of the rules regarding prison photos, and has allegedly allowed herself to be photographed, she could be putting her visitation schedule, as well as other amenities, in jeopardy.

While there hasn’t yet been any word of action taken against Giudice, it wouldn’t be surprising to hear, and if action is taken, her visits with family could be the first thing to go.
