‘My Wife Is A Cheater’: Colorado Home Engulfed In Flames Had Message For Cheating Wife

The words “my wife is a cheater” were spray painted in two places on a home in Colorado that went up in flames. According to 7 News Denver, authorities are currently investigating a house fire in Arvada, and police say that they have a male suspect in custody. At this time, the suspect’s name is not being released, but judging by the message painted on the exterior of the home, many think that a scorned husband may have been behind the arson, perhaps trying to get back at his wife.

“Debris found in the street indicates there was an explosion, but it is too early in the investigation to determine a cause,” said Deanna Harrington with the Arvada Fire Department.

The “my wife is a cheater” message may have been directed at whomever lived in the home. According to CBS News, no one was injured in the fire, but it is unknown if there was an intent to harm behind this incident. The damage to the home, however, has been called significant, and it is likely that the home will be a total loss.

Sometimes people who have been scorned feel the need to take out their frustrations in an inappropriate manner. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, a woman in China cut off her husband’s “manhood” twice, after she learned that he had stepped out on her. The anger that this woman felt caused her to take drastic measures. She punished her husband the only way that she saw fit: By cutting off his penis.

“Apparently, Fan Lung, 32, was having an affair with a woman, and on this particular night, he had been communicating with his alleged lover via email using his wife’s smartphone. Sources say the man failed to cover his footprints when he didn’t log out of the account,” reports the Inquisitr.

The “my wife is a cheater” messages were covered up by tarps. While it does sound like this was an extreme case of hurt, anger, and jealousy, keep in mind that police have not confirmed whether or not the suspect was the husband. Further details in this case are expected by week’s end.
