LeAnn Rimes’ Ex-Husband Dean Sheremet Speaks Out About 2009 Affair

LeAnn Rimes’ ex-husband, Dean Sheremet, recently opened up about her 2009 affair with Eddie Cibrian, the then-husband of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Brandi Glanville.

In a new interview, reported by Fishwrapper on March 6, Sheremet went into detail about the “f–king disaster” of an end to his marriage to LeAnn Rimes.

It all began when LeAnn Rimes took the advice of Sheremet and signed up to play a part in Lifetime’s Northern Lights, a made-for-TV movie also starring Cibrian.

“He was a good looking guy,” Sheremet said of his first impression of Cibrian.

“If you’re in a room with him, he’s probably one of the most charming people you’ll ever meet. But I wouldn’t trust him as far as I could throw this f—ing table.”

Although Sheremet said he wasn’t initially worried about a potential romance between LeAnn Rimes and Cibrian, he later got the shock of his life when he showed up to a bar where the two were hanging out.

“I could just tell by the body language that everything had changed. She’s shooting pool, shooting tequila, in a tight tank, tight jeans, over the knee boots and she’s standing across from him, playing with the pool cue. All of a sudden, there was a huge shift. My stomach dropped. I literally felt like I got hit.”

Around the same time, photos of LeAnn Rimes and Cibrian began hitting the web, exposing their relationship as much more than professional. A short time later, both Rimes and Cibrian announced their divorces and began officially dating. Two years later, in April 2011, they tied the knot.

Throughout the couple’s relationship, LeAnn Rimes has been frequently targeted by Glanville, the mother of Cibrian’s two sons, and his wife of nine years.

In fact, as the Inquisitr reported, Glanville recently hinted that she and Cibrian continued to sleep together after he began dating LeAnn Rimes.

During an episode of her podcast, which also featured scorned wife Mary Jo Eustace, whose ex-husband Dean McDermet left her for Tori Spelling, Glanville opened up about her relationship with Cibrian post-affair.

According to In Touch Weekly, Glanville told Eustace that Cibrian would leave for “weeks at a time” and “sleep in separate rooms” from her after the affair, but was still trying to win her back, despite his relationship with LeAnn Rimes.

In addition to LeAnn Rimes, Cibrian also had a long-running affair with Scheana Marie, star of Vanderpump Rules.
