WWE News: Adult Entertainment Website Brazzers Wants To Sponsor WWE Superstar Dolph Ziggler

WWE Superstar Dolph Ziggler has been getting more and more popular over the last year, so it should come as no surprise that many companies would like to use him as a spokesperson or even sponsor him. However, some who’d like to sponsor Dolph may find it tougher than others, as WWE is a PG company that cannot allow certain things to be on their television shows.

Despite the well-known PG environment these days that is WWE, adult entertainment website Brazzers sent out a tweet asking to sponsor Ziggler, saying…

@HEELZiggler can we make you some Brazzers tights and you can wear them on #RAW? #BrazzersMania

Brazzers has become quite popular in the pro-wrestling community not so much because of its content but for the memes made regarding it. Many will get pictures of WWE Superstars or Divas in compromising positions and slap a Brazzers logo on the picture as a comedic meme. While many seem to enjoy the comedy of it, it only helps the brand of Brazzers itself. This is probably why the company has rolled with it for so long and is now tweeting out to sponsor WWE Superstars.

Of course, WWE has always catered to a mostly male audience over the years. Since the Attitude Era began, wrestling was focused on what men wanted to see. WWE CEO and Chairman Vince McMahon did change the format of his company a number of years ago to PG to go after families instead of just men. Despite this, WWE has gotten families in, but men are still the number one audience that wrestling connects to most of the time as a whole. While women do watch, they do not make up the bulk.

Companies such as TNA and Ring of Honor have tried to go after that very male audience, which is one of the big reasons they have been able to survive.

Men make up the bulk of what adult entertainment websites cater to as well. Men tend to watch it more than women usually. Whether we agree or disagree with the idea of it, this is the well known fact that Brazzers is more than willing to exploit. Since both Pro-Wrestling and adult films go after a male audience more often than not, so it makes total sense that Brazzers would want to sponsor someone like Dolph Ziggler.

Ziggler is not the only person Brazzers targeted however, as the same company went after WWE Superstar Daniel Bryan, asking the same thing via Twitter. Many find what Brazzers said to be in jest, as they know the WWE talent and WWE itself would never agree to such a request. Plus WWE Superstars and Divas aren’t allowed to have sponsors on their ring gear….unless your name is Brock Lesnar. Then it’s all good. Despite Brazzers knowing this would never happen for them, the tweet will garner attention, so in the end it did it’s job.
