Two Female Teachers Have Cocaine And Booze Fueled Sex Party On Beach With Five Male Students

More charges have been filed against two California teachers who allegedly provided cocaine and alcohol to five underage male students during an overnight camping trip on the beach. Teachers Michelle Ghirelli, 30, and Melody Lippert, 38, have both been charged with a felony count of unlawful sexual intercourse and of giving a controlled substance to a minor. The new charges come following the initial charges of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Police say the teachers are responsible for scheduling an overnight camping trip with five male students, during which they had sex with the students along with supplying alcohol and cocaine.

CBSLA reports that both Ghirelli and Lippert worked at South Hills High School in West Covina, California. Lippert allegedly had previously met up with the group of male students prior to the outing with Ghirelli. Lippert is said to have partied with the boys on the beach and slept with one of the 18-year-old students during the first meeting. A few weeks later, Lippert scheduled another beach party with the teens, but this time invited Ghirelli to join.

The alleged overnight party took place at San Clemente State Beach. The students claim that the two teachers supplied the teens with alcohol and cocaine before having sex with two of the boys. Reports indicate that one boy was 17 and the other was 18. It appears that Ghirelli is not disputing the claims of sexual intercourse with the student. According to the L.A. Times, Deputy Dist. Atty. Kristin Bracic says that “the sex between Ghirelli and the underage boy was not in dispute, but Ghirelli had provided various reasons for why she thought the boy was 18.”

School officials say that both teachers were placed on paid administrative leave following the charges; however, both have since resigned. Neighbors indicate that both teachers are married and have families.

Interestingly, another teacher from South Hills High School was also put on paid administrative leave after he reportedly posted to his social media account that the students should have “kept their stupid mouths shut and enjoyed it.” The male teacher, Sean Kane, went on to say that he has no idea what was going on in the heads of the “dudes” who “banged these ladies and then squealed.”

“[Students should have] kept their stupid mouths shut and enjoyed it. All I want to know is what the f*** is in the heads of the dudes who banged these ladies and then squealed?”

Both teachers are facing prison sentences of over a decade a piece. Ghirelli faces up to 11 years and 8 months in state prison, and Lippert faces up to 10 years and 6 months. Ghirelli is facing a longer prison sentence as she also has an additional felony count for oral copulation of a minor.
