Taylor Armstrong Gives Shocking New Details About Abusive Russell Armstrong

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Taylor Armstrong shared some of the most emotional times of her life while filming the show. Viewers felt that Taylor’s husband Russell Armstrong was a bit controlling during the show’s first season. He filmed the second season with his wife, as abuse allegations started surfacing. Right before the second season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills was about to air, Russell committed suicide.

Taylor Armstrong revealed during the second season that her then-husband had beaten her up. After his suicide, Taylor wrote a book, where she detailed the abuse that took place behind closed doors. Even though Armstrong was able to move on from the suicide and find love again, Taylor continues to talk about her experiences.

According to new Wetpaint Entertainment report, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Taylor Armstrong spoke in Boca Raton this week, and she revealed some serious details about the abuse. Taylor has said that she wants to speak out about the abuse to help others in need. Her stories have often been about herself and Russell, but she now reveals that he abused her when she was carrying Kennedy.

“The first time my husband choked me, I was pregnant,” Taylor Armstrong revealed, putting Kennedy in the middle of the abuse.

“I felt that the cameras would offer some protection,” Armstrong added, believing that putting her life on television would stop the abuse and fix her marriage.

Of course, her role on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills really did the opposite. The friendships with the ladies actually posed a threat to Russell, because he knew that his abusive marriage would be leaked to the world. It is strongly believed that he committed suicide, because he didn’t want to deal with the consequences of Taylor Armstrong’s stories.

Taylor has revealed that suicide is tough to move on from. Even though he is gone, the case isn’t shut closed. According to the Inquisitr, Russell’s death may be reinvestigated. His father wants the police to look at the case again. There had been speculations that he had been killed, even though Taylor Armstrong found his body hanging all alone in his home.

Since appearing on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Armstrong has settled the legal and financial messes that Russell left behind. In addition, Taylor has gotten married to John Bluher and closed that abusive chapter. Now, she just wants to spread the word about domestic abuse.
