Dez Bryant Deletes Twitter Tweet About Rumored Video As Deadspin Offers To Buy The Video That’s For Sale To Highest Bidder

Perhaps never has a video made such news before the rumored violent Dez Bryant video has leaked online, but news organizations are giving the alleged “five times worse than Ray Rice” Dez Bryant video plenty of pixel space all the same. First off, when whispers of the Dez Bryant alleged violent video first leaked on Tuesday, lots of videos claiming to be the Dez Bryant video began leaking on YouTube, as reported by the Inquisitr. Checking YouTube on Wednesday, February 25, resulted in even more fake videos with screaming titles claiming they are the Dez Bryant video in question. They are, however, simply additional fakes, either showing football clips or a shaky video of a guy behind the driver’s wheel.

According to Terez Owens, the man whose website claims that a source has actually seen the Dez Bryant video, Bryant chimed in on the melee via a Twitter tweet that has now been deleted.

“I need to get me a real raw uncut TV show or something … I can’t continue to get betrayed like this …”

Dez doesn’t specify in the deleted tweet whom he feels betrayed him, and whether or not that betrayal was related to these rumors of Bryant’s upcoming video, nor does the Dez Bryant Instagram page give many clues to his thinking — but if these rumors were all conjecture, it would be very simple for Dez to tweet that no such violent video of him exists. It’s due to this logic that the presence of a Bryant video tape might be a story that has legs, and if so, Deadspin has offered to buy the Dez Bryant video, according to Deadspin themselves, and ESPN’s Adam Schefter has confirmed the rumor of Dez Bryant video, says NBC Sports.

The Dez Bryant video is a story that the ESPN reporter has been working on since September, so that fact alone gives more credence to the fact that the Dez Bryant video is likely real, as reported by the Washington Post, and is only a matter of time before it leaks online. As with other incendiary videos that make the news and get lots of views — like Solange kicking Jay Z in the elevator — plenty of publications, such as TMZ, are known for paying top dollar to secure footage that will go viral in a big way. According to Deadspin, the Dez Bryant video is for sale to the highest bidder, and that NFL reporters had heard rumors of it for months.
