South Africa was dealt a blow, though, as fast bowler Vernon Philander was ruled out for the match against West Indies, per ESPN Cric Info. He’s also doubtful against Ireland next week after being diagnosed with a Grade 1 hamstring strain.

The match between South Africa vs. West Indies is scheduled to begin at 14:30 local time (03:30 GMT) on Friday, February 27, at the the Sydney Cricket Ground.
