‘Teen Mom OG’ Drama: Maci Bookout Reportedly Leaving The Show Because Of Farrah Abraham

Farrah Abraham’s return to Teen Mom OG has been met with plenty of drama. While fans have discussed their discontent with the decision to bring back the reality show star turned adult film star, the other cast members were reportedly not too happy about her return, either. In fact, prior to learning about Farrah’s return, the cast expressed their discontent. It was decided that the reboot was not complete without Farrah and asked her back after they had already started filming the other girls. As a result, drama ensued, but no one imagined it would come to one of the stars reportedly leaving the show.

Starcasm reports that Maci Bookout has decided not to return to the show for another season, solely because Farrah was brought back to the show. Not only has she decided not to return, but she reportedly also only allowed for her son, Bentley, to be filmed for a part of the new Teen Mom OG season. The news comes via a Facebook Fan page that posts updates on Maci and, while it isn’t verified, Starcasm points out that they typically post accurate information.

“Maci decided to not have her son Bentley filmed halfway through the upcoming season of MTV’s Teen Mom OG airing March 23rd, because Farrah Abrahams [sic] had been brought back on the show halfway through and she did not feel it appropriate to have her 6 year old son on the same show as her. She also decided this will probably be her last season of Teen Mom as well because of that reason, but said she has no hard feelings toward Farrah.”

It is unclear where the information came from and Starcasm, nor other outlets, have yet to verify the report, so at this time it can be classified as a rumor. However, given the amount of documented drama around Farrah Abraham’s return to the show, this rumor doesn’t seem too far-fetched.

What is known is, right now, the Teen Mom OG cast is in New York together. Amber Portwood sent out a tweet saying she is happy to be there with her cast members and she included both Maci and Farrah in the tweet.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, despite the cast members expressing their discontent of Farrah Abraham’s return, Farrah didn’t let it faze her and told Us Weekly that she was “excited to be back.” Teen Mom OG will premiere March 23.
