Stassi Schroeder Reacts To The 2015 Oscars, Continues To Ignore ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Chatter
Stassi Schroeder still doesn’t seem to care much about her Bravo reality series, Vanderpump Rules. While the rest of the cast travels the globe, promoting the show’s third season, Schroder has been checking out shows at fashion week, and on Sunday, she tweeted about the Oscars.
“Honestly… I now feel inadequate as a female. #margotrobbie #oscars,” Schroeder wrote on February 22 after seeing the actress’ gown.
Moments later, she added, “A dress made of PEARLS?! I would give up food to wear that. #LupitaNyongo #oscars.”
Schroeder has made it a point to steer clear of any Vanderpump Rules gossip in recent weeks, and hasn’t been seen with her co-stars for just as long. Meanwhile, her former best friend, Katie Maloney, has struck up a friendship with Scheana Marie and Ariana Madix.
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Lisa Vanderpump has been unhappy with Stassi Schroeder’s Season 3 actions, specifically her hateful words towards Scheana Marie and her wedding.
In an interview with In Touch Weekly on February 20, Vanderpump opened up about Schroeder’s bad reaction to Marie’s wedding.
“I didn’t like the negativity from Stassi, that to me says more about the person saying it than the person that’s doing it, and I thought she looked beautiful.”
During Marie’s wedding episode, Stassi Schroeder was seen reacting to a photo of Marie’s crop-top wedding dress, claiming it looked like “a skanky girl’s quinceañera.” While speaking to Kristina Kelly, Schroeder joked about the dress, and was seen laughing while looking at it.
“Of course, you know, she had the split little dress, the booty-popping dress and whatever, but that’s her, and it was 100 degrees, and it was decent, it wasn’t like she was walking out in like a mini skirt showing her butt or anything, she looked gorgeous, and again, the b***hy comments from Stassi, unnecessary.”
Instead of making fun of Marie, Vanderpump said Schroeder should have been supportive of her former friend, regardless of the status of their friendship.
“You’ve gotta be happy for somebody, if somebody’s getting married, you know, I’m sure if Stassi was getting married we’d be very happy for her and supportive of her too.”
While Schroeder and Marie haven’t been friends for the majority of the seasons of Vanderpump Rules, they did get friendly briefly during Season 2. Then, after Schroeder failed to support Marie through her devastating tooth injury, they cut ties.
