Lisa Vanderpump Denies Hiring Kristen Doute Back As Kristen Enjoys Vacay With James Kennedy
Vanderpump Rules viewers hoping to be served by Kristen Doute on an upcoming visit to SUR will be disappointed. Boss Lisa Vanderpump has just confirmed that Kristen is still very much fired.
On Valentine’s Day, a viewer tweeted Lisa to ask her if it’s true that she has rehired Kristen. The viewer, obviously not a fan of Kristen’s, pleaded with Lisa to say that it’s not true.
“Not true,” Lisa confirmed in a tweet that Kristen then retweeted.
While Kristen is still fired from her job as a server at SUR, she hasn’t remained completely away. About two weeks ago, Kristen told a fan that she goes to SUR on Wednesdays because her boyfriend, James Kennedy, DJs there on those nights. Apparently, Lisa has loosened up on her ban of Kristen from the premises.
It’s also pretty clear that Kristen is still very much with James, despite getting into a very nasty argument and punching him twice in the latest Vanderpump Rules episode.
On Sunday, Kristen Doute and James Kennedy headed to Harrah’s Resort Southern California, near San Diego, to celebrate Kristen’s birthday. Both have posted numerous photos on their social media accounts showing what a great time they’re having together and with other friends.
On Monday night’s episode of Vanderpump Rules, which showed the rest of Scheana Marie’s wedding, James badgered Kristen about being obsessed with her ex, Tom Sandoval. When she walked away with a male friend, James became enraged and started calling her names. It was when he called her a slut that she punched him.
In an interview with Bravo, Kristen explained that the guy she walked away with was just a friend. She also blamed the fight on James being drunk and said that she doesn’t think she could have done anything differently to change what happened.
“Maybe I should’ve left earlier but… no I don’t think it was my fault that he [James] was that wasted.”
Not surprisingly, in her latest blog, Scheana Marie has something to say about Kristen punching James at her wedding.
“I still can’t wrap my head around the fact that not once, but twice, she punched him. I mean, who does that? That’s just the tackiest, classless thing I’ve ever seen done at a wedding, so kudos, Kristen.”
Lisa Vanderpump also had something to say about Kristen basically accusing her of not firing her for professional reasons.
“When Kristen said to me, ‘It was personal,’ no Kristen, it was never personal. I’m not going to give her the pleasure of giving her something to go off about. If it had been personal, I would’ve fired you years ago.”
Surprisingly, given her behavior this past season, Kristen Doute wasn’t the person who got it worst at the recent reunion filming. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, host Andy Cohen said that it was Jax Taylor and Stassi Schroeder who were “pummeled” by their co-stars at the reunion.
