There are quite a few people who are unhappy about the rumored relationship between Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill – one of them being fellow YMCMB artist Drake.
According to the Urban Islandz , Drake was not happy to be passed over as boyfriend material. A source shared that “ he would be the one Nicki Minaj hooked up with .”
The whole situation has changed the relationship between Minaj and Drake, who were once quite close and even rumored to be together at one point.
The source added, “[T]heir (Nicki Minaj and Drake) relationship is definitely not the same right now… they haven’t been speaking much and Meek and Drizzy are also friends so it will be interesting to see how this all play out, you know what I mean.”
According to Latin Post , he was not on the same page as Minaj because “ Drake really thought he and Nicki had a connection ,” and it’s clear that Minaj doesn’t feel the same.

Drake even shared his intentions in the collaboration with Minaj, “Only” off of Minaj’s The Pinkprint . The song, which also features Chris Brown and Lil Wayne, is becoming a fast hit. In the song, Drake raps, “I never f–ked Nicki, cause she got a man / But when that’s over, then I’m first in line.” It appears that just wasn’t the case, though.

Minaj and Meek Mill were seen getting very cozy at the “Anaconda” star’s pre-Grammy party at 1Oak in Los Angeles. Minaj and her latest squeeze were seen “holding hands” as they arrived together and then the two artist “left in the same SUV.”

Rumors began over a month ago that the “Buy a Heart” duo had taken their relationship out of the studio and into real life. And it isn’t just Drake who is upset over Minaj’s choice of a new man. Minaj’s ex, Safaree Samuels, who she was with for 15 years, is hurt because “he was the one who introduced her to Meek Mill and over time, Meek poisoned her mind against him.”
Nicki Minaj probably has other things on her mind now, though, like the fact that, according to HipHopDX , Minaj has “ the only Hip Hop album in the Top 10 of the Billboard Top 200 .”
