WWE News: Original Plans For Seth Rollins’ WWE World Title Win To Be Put On Hold After Nude Photo Leak?

WWE Superstar Seth Rollins ran into a very serious issue on Monday when his fiancee leaked nude photos of not only him, but an NXT Diva in training. It was a huge issue that most thought would put Rollins into hot water. It appeared that it wouldn’t after all was said and done. While it was said that Vince McMahon wasn’t happy, Triple H was big on not dishing out any punishment, as most could say that no one in WWE was at fault for the issue.

Reddit’s MetsFan4Ever, who broke some WWE stories in the past, claims that there’s talk of Rollins being fined a small amount of money. The feeling is that while it was likely a mistake on his part, he originally leaked the first photo.

Meanwhile according to Daily Wrestling News, WWE claimed that it will not be dishing out any fine toward Rollins.

There was an expectation that Rollins would cash in his Money in the Bank case soon. However, some speculate that it could be June when he does so. That could even move up to July right before the next Money in the Bank PPV takes place. Rollins has to cash in some time before then, so WWE will be pushing his cash in up as late as possible.

While it seemed like an undeniable fact that Rollins would cash in an win, now it is up in the air on if he’ll win or not. WWE could easily have him lose then win the MITB match again to try it again.

The reason for all of this, according to DWN, is that the Rollins photo scandal has received a lot of national attention. WWE officials were said to be upset mainly about Elvis Duran talking about the scandal for 15 minutes on his morning radio show. It is syndicated nationally and is one of the most-listened to shows in New York City. NYC has been considered a second home for WWE over the years. That being said, WWE would certainly be upset if they knew going into a major city that people would be talking about a scandal involving one of their WWE Superstars.

WWE sent out a memo to all talent telling them to not bring up the matter publicly or discuss it at all. WWE truly wants this story to die a quick death, and it may do so. However, most of the time things like this do not. That said, Seth Rollins winning the World Title soon seems like a long shot. Many hoped he’d get involved in the WWE World Heavyweight Title match at WrestleMania 31 in some way. Sadly, it looks like that even if that was in the cards, it is out completely.
