‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Alison Sweeney Returning As Sami Brady? — EJ Next?

Days of Our Lives spoilers are running wild, and rumor has that Alison Sweeney may return to Salem as her former character, Sami Brady. Celeb Dirty Laundry reports that there’s a good chance of Sweeney returning due to the fact that she’s currently looking for work.

According to the report, Alison has been busy looking for roles, especially on television, and even recently booked a big movie series for the Hallmark Channel. Sweeney, who played Sami Brady on Days of Our Lives for over 20 years, left the show in 2014 to pursue other interests and spend more time with her family.

However, Alison Sweeney has been open about the possibility of returning to the long running NBC soap opera, and revealed in the past that she’d love to be a part of the 50 year anniversary celebration. She also said that Sami would likely come back to celebrate Christmas and other special events like weddings, funerals, etc.

Sami Brady left Salem after her husband, EJ DiMera, was shot and killed in the park. She was distraught over the loss and took her children, Johnny, Ali, and Sydney to California to pursue a movie deal about her life after being approached by Hollywood execs.

Days of Our Lives fans know that the circumstances surrounding EJ DiMera’s death were shady, and the fact that his sister, Kristen DiMera, injected his body with a mysterious liquid which has yet to be brought up again. Many fans believe this is because EJ is really alive and could return to Salem as well.

The DiMera family could be getting another member as the new guy in town, Paul Norita, could possibly be another one of Stefano DiMera’s long lost children, much like EJ, Lexi, and Chad, who were all proven to be Stefano’s offspring.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, other Salem citizens are going through some serious drama, as well. Sonny Kirakis is in the hospital after being brutally beaten, Clyde Weston was shot and left for dead, JJ is trying to hide an affair with his girlfriend’s mother, Eve, and Sonny’s husband, Will, cheated on him with Paul Norita, who just so happens to be Sonny’s ex-lover, but Will has no idea about that.

It looks like a great time for Alison Sweeney to return to Days of Our Lives as Will could use his mother as he goes through this tough time in his life.
