There’s a chance that the first teaser trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice could be released today. But there’s also an equal chance that’s a lie and it won’t be released at all, which will mean that fans will have to impatiently continue waiting for its arrival.
So where have these rumors come from? Well, a movie theater worker by the name of Lou. According to Movie Pilot, Lou took to Twitter on Thursday to confirm that the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer was indeed attached to Jupiter Ascending. This would make sense because they are both from Warner Bros. studio.
According to the aforementioned website, @YonkersaurusRex wrote, “I have confirmation that #BatmanvSuperman will be attached to #JupiterAscending @slashfilm. Trailer attached won’t even unlock till Friday.”
As you can imagine, this instantly garnered him the attention of a legion of Batman V Superman fans who are hellbent on seeing the first footage for the film. He even then looked to explain that the clip was attached to Jupiter Ascending when it arrived at his theater.
“@Mckflicus @slashfilm when Jupiter arrived to the theatre it had BvS attached to it but there was a timer that won’t let U open file,” he explained.
Various other Twitter users then started to bombard @YonkersaurusRex with questions regarding the potential trailer. However, either @YonkersaurusRex suddenly got very bored of Twitter or he couldn’t handle the attention that he was receiving because he soon deleted his account.
You can check out a variety of messages that have since headed his way below.
@YonkersaurusRex @steve_w_91 Hey Lou, a whole bunch of people are wondering why you said Friday initially and now all of a sudden at 7:00 PM

Since then, there haven’t been any reports that Batman v Superman’s first teaser trailer has been shown with Jupiter Ascending.
Jupiter Ascending has now been in U.S. theaters all of Thursday evening and Friday morning, so the internet would have been alive with chatter if the trailer had actually been released.
This hasn’t stopped rumors that Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’s first trailer will actually be released on Friday from appearing on Twitter.

It doesn’t look as if Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’s trailer will actually debut today. But fingers crossed that we are only weeks, if not days, away from our first real glimpse of Zack Snyder’s blockbuster. If not, the internet might implode with anticipation.
