WWE News: Daniel Bryan Vs Dolph Ziggler At ‘WrestleMania’ Not Set In Stone, Could Bryan Main Event ‘WrestleMania’ Again?

It has been reported for the last week now that WWE may be giving us Dolph Ziggler vs Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania 31. We’ve heard for so long that WWE wants to keep Roman Reigns in the WWE World Title match with Brock Lesnar at the show of shows. Sadly, Reigns is not getting high praise at this point, and WWE is conscious of the fact that the main event could very well be booed.

This is why there has been some speculation in removing Roman Reigns from the title match or adding someone else in as a buffer to help the main event from being bad. It was said that Bryan would originally be facing Sheamus at WrestleMania to make it their third match-up at the event. This was something many were against, including Bryan. So Bryan went to WWE officials to get Ziggler, who also wanted to face Bryan. It looked possible, but according to the Wrestling Observer, we may not be seeing the two face off.

As we saw last night on WWE SmackDown, Dolph and Ryback were tagging, and there is some speculation that WWE would want to have them involved in the tag team scene at WrestleMania 31. Creative has considered the idea very much. This would make yet another year where Ziggler does not get a singles match and is reduced to a tag team match on the show.

On top of this, there is still a possibility that Daniel Bryan will go over Reigns at WWE Fast Lane, according to the Observer as well. This means that the match, originally set to be a Reigns win without any doubt, could go the other way to swerve plans a bit.

Reigns Rumble

Since Reigns cannot be removed from the match officially, it could set up a triple threat that Bryan would earn a right to be in.

This would take him out of a potential match with Ziggler, which would still give many fans something they want but push Ziggler down the card.

It is not a 100 percent certainty that Bryan will go over Reigns at WWE Fast Lane, but it is being discussed as a way to help the main event. This is obviously good news for many fans who would like a triple threat or have Reigns removed altogether. It is an almost guaranteed turn of events that Reigns will still be involved in the WrestleMania main event regardless of if he wins at WWE Fast Lane or not.

It is speculated that WWE Fast Lane will richly determine all of the big matches for the show. If Bryan wins, it is just about guaranteed that we’ll see a triple threat at WrestleMania. If he loses, we will probably still see Ziggler/Bryan at WrestleMania. Really, it all comes down to how WWE wants to book the main event of WWE Fast Lane.

If someone interferes in the match, one would imagine it would be to cost Reigns the match. If Reigns beats Bryan, he’d most likely have to do it clean. Unless WWE wants to turn Ziggler heel to set up their match. Right now, there is a lot up in the air for WWE to decide on. So WWE Fast Lane is actually turning out to be an important show for the company and fans alike.
