‘Destiny’: Xur’s Location And Exotic Goods For Weekend Of February 6
Another weekend of Xûr, Agent of the Nine, has arrived in Destiny. The vendor with the Exotic goodies doesn’t have anything new to sell armor wise or a coveted weapon for PlayStation and Xbox players. However, the stats for the armor he is selling warrants a look.
Destiny players looking for Xûr should turn right and head toward the hangar after spawning at the Tower. Once you’ve gone through the long hallway and entered the hangar, turn right and you will see the seller of Exotics. Here’s where you can find him on the Tower map, just to be sure.
Xûr and his items will only be available in Destiny through the morning of Sunday, February 8. As soon as the clock strikes 5 a.m. ET / 2 a.m. PT, he will be gone.
There’s nothing new for sale in any of the Exotic categories this weekend, and the Heavy Weapon ammo is not available once again. However, the stat rolls for what Xûr is selling are excellent.
Here is what is available for sale and upgrade from Xûr this weekend. Thanks again to DestinyDB for the Exotic information below.

For those wondering what to get, here are a few helpful hints.
The Plan C is one of the better Fusion Rifles in the game due to its stability and quick charge time. It’s also one of only two Arc Fusion Rifles in the game, which makes it a no-brainer to grab for facing down Arc-shielded enemies or to use in Nightfall when Arc Burn is active. Its perks include bonus accuracy to hip fire, reduced charge time, and fast equip / charge time after swapping weapons.
The Glasshouse is the other Defender specialty Titan Helmet. If you play as a Titan who likes to drop the Ward of Dawn bubble shield and give the Weapons of Light or Blessing of Light perks to your teammates in Raids or other activities, you should absolutely buy this. The “Bathed in Light” perk on the helmet makes Weapons of Light or Blessing of Light last an extra five seconds. This is extremely helpful for a fireteam in PVE boss fights, as it will allow either dishing out or absorbing damage even longer. The Helm of Saint-14 is more of a companion to it, as both fit different uses for the Ward of Dawn.
The stat roll for The Glasshouse is almost as high as you can get it this week at 127. If you’ve been holding off on getting this helmet, now is a good time to grab it.
The Don’t Touch Me gauntlets for Hunters can be used with either sub-class, but the Bladedancer playing PVE will see the most benefit due to the “Defensive Reflex” perk. This makes the Hunter invisible for a short period of time after being hit with a melee attack. This can be stacked with the Shadowjack talent to increase the duration of the invisibility. It also comes with the “Inverse Shadow” perk that gives extra super energy from killing enemies and an increase in reload speed for Special Weapons.
These gauntlets were on sale last week, but with a particularly bad stat roll for Discipline. I suggested waiting at the time and this is why. The Discipline stat roll today is nearly 30 points higher at 111.
The Sunbreakers are for all the Warlock Sunsingers (aka Sunbros) and has a specific focus on the Solar Grenades. The Serpent’s Tail perk reduces the grenade cool down when meleeing while the Helium Cycle perk increases the duration of the Solar Grenade.
This is another good stat roll this week. These Sunbreakers have 105 Intellect, which is only eight points away from the max. Obviously, this isn’t the best, but it’s a good stat roll.
How does Xûr’s collection of exotic goods look to you this weekend? Sound off in the comments below.
