Alex Trebek Reading Lyrics To ‘Girls, Girls, Girls’ Is Equally Disturbing As It Is Hilarious [Video]

Everyone knows that Alex Trebek takes his role as host of Jeopardy! very seriously. It is, after all, a game show aimed toward the intellectual viewers. That being said, Trebek revealed a whole new side of himself on Monday night’s episode during the ongoing Teachers’ Tournament.

It all started when the category “Hard Rockers” was revealed. According to Time, the clues in this category were lyrics from top Rock and Roll songs. The contestants had to respond with the appropriate question with regards to the name of the band who sang that song.

Jeopardy! fans will never be the same after Trebek began to emphatically read the lyrics to Mötley Crüe’s “Girls, Girls, Girls.” According to VH1, the reading first became a sensation on Twitter, with tweets such as this one from @jleimer, “Alex Trebek speaking Motley crue on jeopardy is awesome. Trebek the spoken album needs to come.”

@Shoffology agreed, stating, “Hearing Alex Trebek read Motley Crue and AC/DC lyrics is absolutely hilarious.”

But for some, the reading by Trebek gave a somewhat “awkward” vibe — even somewhat disturbing, such as @500_Fan who tweeted, “Alex Trebek reading the Motley Crue lyrics to ‘Girls Girls Girls’ makes me feel uncomfortable.”

Decide for yourself if you think it is hilarious, or freakish.
