‘RHOBH’ Star Lisa Vanderpump Denies Kristen’s Firing Was ‘Easy,’ Doute Explains Why Cooks Were So Happy She Left

RHOBH star Lisa Vanderpump fired Kristen Doute on Monday night’s episode of Vanderpump Rules in a dramatic scene, which played out at SUR Lounge.

As the episode aired, both Vanderpump and Doute spoke out on Twitter.

According to a February 4 report by Us Weekly, RHOBH star Lisa Vanderpump’s tweets were as follows.

“No @kristendoute it wasn’t easy, but I think we both knew it was about time…”

Vanderpump even defended Doute after seeing the harsh backlash she received online for her behavior towards her manager, Diana, at SUR Lounge.

“Easy now…We all make mistakes…just some more than others,from that we grow.
@kristendoute.”

As for Doute, she addressed a scene, which featured the SUR cooks celebrating her exit.

“The sur kitchen guys were def over my picky vegetarian requests.”

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Doute spoke to E! News earlier this week, recounting her last day at SUR Lounge.

“I had this weird feeling and I happened to walk by the VIP room in the lounge and I saw Lisa sitting with Ken and Guillermo and Nathalie—their business partners—and my manager Diana sitting at the table and I thought to myself, ‘Oh no, this isn’t good,'” Doute told the site. “I had a feeling it was about me.”

“My time was up. The place was really getting to me, especially having to work with Tom and Arianna, it was just eating away at me every day. I definitely think I should have quit a long time ago so it didn’t get to the place that it did. I’m glad I don’t work there anymore but I’m not proud of the fact I got fired. It’s embarrassing.”

Although Doute believed RHOBH star Lisa Vanderpump enjoyed firing her, at least to an extent, she holds no ill will towards her former boss.

“I do think that Lisa has a little bit of a vendetta against me. She doesn’t like me,” Doute continued.

“We don’t get along. Our personalities just clash. But I have to say, I wouldn’t have any of this without her. I wouldn’t have the job, I wouldn’t have the show. So as much I’m not her biggest fan and vice-versa, I’m grateful for all the opportunities she’s given me.”
