Rihanna’s father speaks out

Rihanna’s father Ronald Fenty has spoken to the media for the first time about his daughters beating at the hands of Chris Brown.

“I didn’t believe it” Brown told People.

Describing Rihanna’s current condition after seeing her in Barbados “There is some bruising. She will be alright. I think so.”

And her relationship with Brown: “They seemed pretty happy…I don’t know what went wrong.”

On when Rihanna will speak publicly: “At some point, she will speak out. I hope she will stand up for women all over the world.
