Maci Bookout Baby Bump: 'Teen Mom' Star Shares First Instagram Photo

Maci Bookout shared the first Instagram photo of her baby bump over the weekend. While on a trip to Nashville, the Teen Mom star snapped a picture of her dog sitting in her lap and resting its chest of her growing belly.

"Ridin' shotgun on our family fieldtrip! #nashville #arenacross," Bookout wrote on Instagram.

On February 1, Us Weeekly reported the following in regard to Bookout's pregnancy photo.

"Two babies in one adorable picture! Teen Mom star Maci Bookout has remained relatively quiet on social media about her second pregnancy. But on Saturday, Jan. 31, there was no hiding her growing baby bump in a picture she posted on Instagram."

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Maci Bookout announced she was expecting a child with boyfriend Taylor McKinney in late December.

"I started having very strange symptoms, like my legs were very itchy and I had tenderness in my breasts. So we got a test and it said I was pregnant," Bookout told In Touch Weekly on December 29.

At first, Bookout, who was diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) years ago, doubted she could be pregnant. After all, her illness makes it highly difficult to conceive. However, after four pregnancy tests, Bookout's baby news was confirmed.

"I didn't think that another pregnancy was possible. We still can't believe it. It was a huge shock, but we are very excited."

Last week, Us Weekly confirmed Farrah Abraham would be returning to the cast of Teen Mom for Season 5.

"I think it was important because I mean just weighing out the options and my future for my daughter. I think Teen Mom is important for the children and their futures. And I think it holds some good opportunities for Sophia and her future.

"I'm not doing anything differently that I would not do when the cameras are there or not there. I mean, I don't know if it really benefits me to be on TV because I was most successful in my career when I was away from Teen Mom. So if it benefits me then that's randomly benefitting. I'm more or less looking at it to benefit Sophia."

As for what Bookout and the rest of the cast thought of Abraham's return, Teen Mom creator Lauren Dolgen explained, "[They] know that she's coming back, and it did create a little bit of controversy that will play out in the series."

For more Maci Bookout, don't miss Teen Mom Season 5 when it premieres on MTV later this year.
