Hype has been building up for En Masse’s upcoming MMO, TERA, and it looks like players will soon get the chance to see if all that hype was justified, as the developer announced today that sign-ups for the TERA closed beta are now live.
Starting right now, gamers in North America and Europe can sign up for a chance to get into the initial closed beta through this link. All you have to do is simply enter your email address, and you’ll be notified if and when you’re accepted into the first wave.
There is a bit of a catch. En Masses says that when you enter your email address, you’re entering yourself to win one of only 1,000 closed beta keys, so the initial run will be limited.
Additionally, the developer noted that this only enters you for a chance to get into the first round; if you want to get into subsequent phases of the TERA closed beta, you’ll have to apply to each individually.
On the bright side, everyone who signs up for the beta at any point will get access to the RIFT open beta when it’s ready. Those of you lucky few who managed to get into the alpha test will also get access to all closed beta phases.
Are you looking forward to trying out TERA?
