Halle Berry Is Not Engaged

After Halle Berry was spotted earlier this week wearing an engagement ring rumors started to circulate that the Oscar winner and Olivier Martinez were engaged. But it turns out that the “engagement ring” was actually just a ring and Berry and Martinez are not getting married.

Sources told TMZ that the ring was just a gift from Martinez and did not symbolize their plan to get married. The source said that Berry and Martinez are currently in a “committed relationship” and marriage “could be in the cards,” but as of now, there are no wedding plans.

Of course, the news about Halle Berry’s non-engagement comes from a similar unnamed source. So who knows, maybe tomorrow the “Monsters’ Ball” actress will be engaged again.

NineMSN points out that Berry was spotted wearing the non-engagement ring on her real engagement ring finger. So Berry is either trying to start rumors or trying to cover up her marriage… or she just decided to put on a ring and didn’t think anything else about it.

The Inquisitr reported earlier that Berry and Martinez started dating after working together on the film “Dark Tide.” They’ve been dating now for about a year and a half.
