Slade Smiley And Gretchen Rossi Bond With Producers And Writers At Sundance
The Real Housewives of Orange County star Slade Smiley has been rumored to hunt the housewives down so he could get a gig on the show. Smiley was on the first season of the show, where he was dating Jo De La Rosa. When they broke up, Slade was automatically out of the show because he was no longer the partner of a housewife.
But three seasons later, Slade Smiley returned to the show as he began going on dates with Lauri Peterson. Many felt that Slade was just trying to get back onto the show, because it had become such a popular reality show. But it wasn’t until Smiley began dating Gretchen Rossi that the rumors really took off.
According to a new Real Mr. Housewife report, The Real Housewives of Orange County star Slade Smiley was labeled as a housewife hunter, who would date anyone in front of the camera. And even though Rossi is no longer on the show, both Slade and Gretchen recently went to the Sundance Film Festival, where they connected with producers and writers.
“Slade and I love the entertainment business and Sundance is a great way to network and continue to meet producers, writers, and directors in the business, so we can continue to do what we love — create, whether in front of the camera or behind it,” she revealed about the connections she and Smiley made at the festival.
It sounds like Slade Smiley may actually be moving into acting. When fans first met him, he was working in the corporate world, but he began spending more time in front of the camera. Now, it appears that Smiley is all about working in the film world.
“Slade was recently filming for an appearance as a cowboy in a mini series in Durango Mexico coming out on the History channel this May,” she continued, explaining that, “It was great for him to be able to discuss that epic project with the many talented producers, writers and directors out at Sundance.”
As for Gretchen, she has also been working in front of the camera, but she has been interviewing celebrities instead.
“I interviewed some great and inspirational people such as Gina Rodriquez, who just recently won the Golden Globe for Jane the Virgin,” Rossi stated, adding, “She was so humble, beautiful and a sweetheart.”
It doesn’t sound like Slade Smiley is ready to return to The Real Housewives of Orange County. The couple claimed that Bravo wanted them to get married on the show, according to the Inquisitr. In addition, the couple has been trying to get pregnant.
