The Doctors will welcome former Teen Mom star Farrah Abraham to an episode of their show next week. After suffering from a botched lip implant surgery, Abraham filmed a segment of the show, which is reportedly meant to inform women of the risks of plastic surgery.
On January 22, Hollywood Life announced the exciting news.
“Farrah will appear on the hit talk show, ‘The Doctors‘ to reveal what went horribly wrong during her lip enhancement surgery that left her with massively swollen lips! They will go in-depth to explain what happened so that this can be prevented for other women!”
Speaking to the site, Abraham confirmed the appearance, encouraging fans to watch the show to find out what really went wrong when she went under the knife for lip implants.
“Tune in to The Doctors Jan. 26.”
Following the procedure-gone-wrong, Abraham spoke to Hollywood Life, revealing the swelling was the result of a “massive attack.”
“I was attempting to put in a lip implant, but while being relaxed by medication, the doctor used a method I was allergic to and I had a massive attack and went to emergency room. The hospital doctors let the other doctor know what he should not have done. I am not on medicine for 5 days in order to clear up and heal my body from the attack. I never received the lip implant.”
“I will stick with my other doctors that I have never had issues with in the past. I personally would not recommend south California top rated doctors to anyone.”
In a second interview, as reported by the Inquisitr, Abraham claimed she had an allergic reaction during surgery.
Once Abraham went public with photo of her surgery, calling her lips “botched,” fans began to wonder if she would be appearing on E!’s Botched. On the show, Dr. Paul Nassif and Dr. Terry Dubrow fix celebrities, and others, who have had bad luck with plastic surgery.
In response to the speculation, Dr. Dubrow spoke to the U.K.’s Daily Mail. Unfortunately, he couldn’t give a clear answer.
“We can’t talk about that but let’s assume that we may be involved with that at this point. Maybe we have, maybe we will, but that’s something she may need help with.”
Abraham’s episode of The Doctors will air on January 26. This will be her second appearance on the show. The former reality star also was a guest in 2013, after she removed a chin implant.
