Nick Jonas Continues His All Grown Up Tour, Talks About Smoking Weed As A Disney Teen
What hasn’t Nick Jonas done in the last year? The ex Jonas Brother member grabbed his junk in almost every photo shoot, is giving everyone Marky Mark nostalgia feelings, and is dead set on proving he’s moved on from his Disney persona.
In his latest quest to disassociate himself from the Disney brand, Nick Jonas opened up to Rolling Stone about smoking weed in his teen years.
“I never smoked weed with any of my fellow Disney stars. I smoked weed elsewhere [laughs]. But I was actually way more guarded back then. I wasn’t partying too hard at 15, which is probably for the best. I’ve loosened up quite a bit since then. My Disney years feel like a long, long time ago.”

And what about that photo shoot in Flaunt that saw Jonas almost naked? Nick said he didn’t think they would cause such a stir.
“I had no idea [it was going to be such a big deal]. It just kind of happened, and now I have a lot of unexpected new fans.”
Since he’s revamped his career as a Wilhelmina model and a bonafide success story as a solo pop act, Nick has been extremely candid that he’s like any other 22-year-old.
A while back, the former JoBro spoke to HuffPost about slowly shedding his innocent image. Specifically, he spoke about ditching the purity ring, which was highly publicized back when the Jonas Brothers were at their height of fame.
“This is a real growth in me and not something I’m doing anymore, but I’ve got my set of values, things that are important to me now at this point in my life, and that’s all that matters. I’ve had an incredibly intense journey with faith and religion, and my own growth. My belief in God is still very strong and important to me as a person, and I think that’s all that should matter.”
