According to a new report, Clooney and his wife, Amal Alamuddin, might not be as happy as they seem. It’s OK! Magazine’s latest cover story, and it’s all the internet seems to want to talk about today. According to the mag’s cover, sources revealed that Amal found out about George’s supposed “secret calls.” The mag also says that the newlyweds are up late having “screaming matches,” and that Mrs. Clooney does not want to attend the Oscars with her husband. In fact, she has allegedly “refused.”

If you are a George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin supporter, you’ll likely be very relieved to know that these rumors are not true. According to Gossip Cop, the chatter about George and Amal having serious marital issues is nothing to write home about; it’s actually nothing to write about at all. A source close to the couple called OK!’s claims “trash.” Just a few days ago, Clooney’s rep Stan Rosenfield spoke out about the divorce rumors that keep finding their way into sentences containing George’s name.

“This story is totally made up in order to sell their magazines,” Rosenfield told Rumor Fix in a report posted yesterday.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Clooney’s Golden Globe’s speech pretty much proved that he’s very much in love with his wife, the woman who changed him from eternal-bachelor to husband-material. Generally a private person, George doesn’t need to give his wife any kind of a shout out at any event, so the fact that he’s doing so really does prove that things are going well.

“Listen: It’s a humbling thing when you find someone to love — even better when you’ve been waiting your whole life. And when your whole life is 53 years, Amal, whatever alchemy it is that brought us together, I couldn’t be more proud to be your husband.”

If George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin get a divorce in the future, no one will be surprised (that’s Hollywood), but things look really bright for the pair at the moment.

As for Amal “refusing” to attend the Oscars, the two have until Feb. 22 to work that out. And, really, there’s no way she’s not going to be on his arm — and on every “best dressed” list there is.
