On RHOBH Season 5, Brandi Glanville and Kyle Richards are once again at odds. Following a brief friendship during Season 4, Glanville and Richards engaged in a heated feud on Tuesday night’s episode, which ultimately resulted in a physical altercation.
During the episode, Glanville was trying to get Richards’ sister, Kim, away from her after rumors began to swirl that Kim may have relapsed. When Richards wanted Glanville to back off, a fight broke out.
Now, in a January 21 interview with People Magazine, Glanville is slamming her RHOBH Season 5 co-star for using her sister’s addiction issues for her own benefit.
“It really is a shame the way things came across in this week’s episode. At the end of the day, I was trying to protect Kim and her health.”
Although Glanville may have looked like the aggressor, she claimed on Twitter it was Richards who scratched her first. As the Inquisitr reported, Glanville denied starting the fight as the episode aired.
Kyle roughly grabbed I twisted free. Kyle roughly grabbed AGAIN, her nails SCRATCHING into my arm PULLING me. I had to push her off #TheEnd

Continuing on to People, Glanville said Richards purposefully embarrassed her sister during Tuesday’s episode of RHOBH Season 5 — and did so in an effort to draw attention to herself.
“Remember, you don’t get to see everything, only the highlights. In my opinion Kyle doesn’t care about Kim’s health, she cares about fame and having this play out on national TV to give herself a story line and embarrass her sister.”
Even Richards’ sister was caught off guard when she realized Richards was more embarrassed than concerned. In her Bravo blog, as the Inquisitr reported, Kim wondered why Richards, who allegedly feared her sister relapsed, wasn’t more compassionate in that situation.
In her blog, Richards shared the following message with fans.
“I was hurt that all Kyle could say was how embarrassed she was. As a sister, I would be worried, not embarrassed. I’m just grateful that Brandi was a good friend and supported me.”
As for what is to come, Glanville told People there’s more drama on the way between her and Richards.
“Sadly, things are not resolved, and I am looking forward to next week’s episode as well as the rest of the season. Hopefully they will show Kyle’s true colors.”
RHOBH Season 5 airs on Tuesday nights at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
