Farrah Abraham started off 2015 with a bang. The former reality show star, who is busy traveling and making public appearances, suffered a plastic surgery mishap. While being put under to have implants put into her lips, the former Teen Mom suffered an allergic reaction to the anesthetic, which resulted in severe swelling of her lips.
Despite the plastic surgery being a fail, Farrah turned the situation around and made it into something positive. She poked fun at herself on social networking, and went along with the jokes being made about her. Overall, Farrah Abraham had an excellent attitude regarding the mishap, which may have helped her land a new reality show.
As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Farrah’s father, Michael, confirmed that he and the family are indeed filming something new. Most fans believe that it will be for the reality show Botched, as Farrah was recently spotted meeting with the doctors from the show. Farrah was also recently spotted out in Long Island at The Scene, where she was scheduled to make an appearance. Luckily for the former reality show star, her lips were back to normal.
Photos of Farrah Abraham show the former Teen Mom looking happy to be out in public again. She wore a mini dress, tall black boots, and topped everything off with a fur wrap. Her lips, now back to normal size and looking fantastic, were a beautiful shade of shiny pink.
Farrah Abraham is not the first reality show star to go under the knife, and she certainly won’t be the last. However, it seems that Lisa Rinna of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, is taking it upon herself to personally apologize to Farrah for her lip implant fail. InTouch Weekly reports that the housewife took to Twitter and posted a photo of Farrah’s lip implants gone wrong along with a caption.
“I apologize for starting this s—t 26 years ago, please forgive me.”
However, Lisa Rinna later deleted the tweet. Of course, Lisa Rinna didn’t start the lip injection trend on her own, but the fact that she has been open about her plastic surgery and has had work done over many years, it makes sense that she would feel some responsibility for the trend taking off these days.
Farrah Abraham is set to make more appearances later this month, and will also be at the AVN Awards.
