Mila Kunis is the New Face of Dior

Mila Kunis is really standing on top of the world these days. The Academy Award winning actress has been named the new face of Dior.

French actress Marion Cotillard has been the face of Dior for some time now, and while Charlize Theron has worked with them on the perfume front, it has been unusual for Dior to work with an American on clothing and handbags.

Shot by Mikael Jansen in New York, Mila Kunis will be featured in black clothes and a red “Miss Dior” bag later this month.

Kunis released a statement where she was quoted as saying:

“I am absolutely thrilled to be working with Dior,” Kunis announced. “The brand is iconic in so many ways. It defines fashion, elegance and sophistication.”

Being the face of an international fashion brand is a huge deal for an actress or actor. In addition to being paid a boatload of money, it gives the star the ability to be featured in many international markets where they may be less known.

Mila Kunis admitted to WWD that she has always considered herself to be a “Jeans and T-shirt” kind of girl she said

“”In my daily life, I don’t wear the most feminine pieces. But I love to feel feminine when I’m on the red carpet. I find that Dior is an incredibly grounded house. I always thought what Dior does is so sophisticated, feminine and beautiful.

Well now Kunis can ad Dior to her long list of accolades. She has just wrapped shooting on a new movie with James Franco called Oz:The Great and Powerful .
