Mariah Carey Divorce: Is Mimi Begging Nick Cannon For A Second Chance?

Mariah Carey might not file for divorce in 2015 after all. According to Life & Style Magazine, Mariah has had a change of heart so to speak, and she is begging Nick Cannon for a second chance. Evidently the time the two have spent apart was enough for Mimi to see that she doesn’t want to be alone and that she doesn’t want to be without her husband after all. That is, if the rumors are true.

“She’s extremely lonely and begging Nick for another chance, telling him she wants things to go back to how they used to be. Mariah is completely overwhelmed as a single parent. And she now sees what a hands-on dad he was,” said a source.

It’s unknown how true these Mariah Carey rumors are, but the fact that she nor Nick haven’t filed for divorce suggests that they are trying to work things out. According to the report, however, Nick isn’t interested in a reconciliation of any kind.

“[He] put up with her mood swings, outbursts and demands longer than most guys would’ve, but now he’s tasted freedom. There’s no way he’s going back,” the source shared.

Some people find this hard to believe, however, as Nick has been very open about his love for MC. In fact, he expressed his feelings on Twitter last year when rumors about his relationship started getting out of control. He loves and respects her, that much was made clear. But maybe he really doesn’t want to be married anymore, who knows?

Reports that Nick Cannon wrote a Mariah Carey diss track surfaced recently, but that wasn’t actually the case. The America’s Got Talent host did record a new song, but it wasn’t about Mariah at all. According to Perez Hilton, Nick was joined by Mally Mall, French Montana, and Too Short for the song, which is apparently about his “bedroom skills.”

And while Nick gets back to his roots in the music industry, Mariah is working things out for herself too. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Mariah has been in talks with people in Las Vegas, and she may be signing a contract that would make her the next big Vegas star, following divas like Celine Dion, Shania Twain, and Britney Spears.

“While the contract hasn’t been finalized, sources claim it could be worth more than Britney Spears’ two-year, $30 million deal once negotiations wrap up, and Mariah could hit the Strip before the holidays of 2015!”

So while Mariah and Nick work to figure out their relationship, they are both working on the next step in their respective careers… so who knows? Maybe things will end up working out for the best for both.
