WWE News: Kurt Angle Blasts Paul Heyman On Twitter After ‘Raw’ Promo

WWE Monday Night Raw has its fair share of good and bad. From last night’s episode, the first segment with John Cena and the Authority provided the WWE audience with excitement. It’s always a treat when Cena, McMahon, and Triple H get into a verbal battle. They added another layer to the firing of Dolph Ziggler, Ryback, and Erick Rowan that gave Cena a chance to bring them back.

Triple H announced a match between Cena and Seth Rollins in a Lumberjack match. If Cena would’ve won that match, then the WWE would reinstate the three men who got fired last week. Unfortunately, each lumberjack was a heel and took away all of Cena’s chances to win.

As far as the rest of Raw, each segment with Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman brought gold to WWE programming. There was one instance when Heyman delivered an illustrious promo about his client, Brock Lesnar. Heyman said that he is the only man to ever win the UFC Heavyweight championship, NCAA Division-One championship, and a WWE title.

Kurt Angle, former-WWE champion, took offense to that and took to Twitter to prove Heyman wrong on one key fixture.

Technically, neither man is wrong in their tweet. Lesnar won the NCAA Division-One championship in wrestling at Minnesota University. He also defeated Frank Mir to become the UFC Heavyweight champion. Of course, Lesnar won a WWE championship in his first run in the WWE. He’s the only man to win all three.

As for the current-TNA wrestler, Angle has one thing that Lesnar doesn’t, and that is a Gold medal in the Olympics. He won Gold in the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta. Angle’s amateur wrestling accolades don’t end there, as he won Gold in the 1995 World Championships. In 1992 and 1995, Angle took Bronze and Silver respectively at the Wrestling World Cup.

Going back to Lesnar, he and Paul Heyman are an incredible duo that really started together in Lesnar’s debut. There hasn’t been a time that Lesnar wasn’t with Heyman either on-screen or behind the scenes. The Beast Incarnate began as a “Paul Heyman Guy,” and that moniker still lives today. Rumors are circulating that their time is coming to an end on WWE TV.

Without Heyman, Lesnar doesn’t have a mouthpiece. That is why they are truly the dynamic duo of WWE. Lesnar is the intimidating force of nature, while Heyman does all of the talking. Also, Heyman’s presence allowed Lesnar to not be on TV for months at time. While Lesnar was away, Heyman promoted the WWE World Heavyweight champion like he never left.
