Kylie Jenner’s No Makeup Selfie Causes More Debate Over Pouty Lips
Kylie Jenner shared a no makeup selfie on Instagram on Sunday, and that new photo has jump started the debate over her having her lips injected since 2013. Hollywood Life compared the new photo of the reality star with a photo Kylie shared back in 2013, and the difference in her lips is noticeable. Her lips were plump and full in the new photo, and they were definitely larger than the photo she shared in 2013.
Kylie has been at the center of debate about her lips for quite some time. Many fans feel that the 17-year-old reality television star has had work done on her lips, but she has denied that she has had any plastic surgery done at all. However, she is not against having some form of plastic surgery done in the future.
Kylie Jenner is featured on the cover of Cosmopolitan’s February issue, and the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star spoke candidly about her life. One of the topics she tackled was the plastic surgery debate.
“You guys have watched me grow up since I was 9. My face is going to get different. Now, I know how to do my makeup, contour, and everything. I’m not against surgery. I’d never say no, but I don’t desire it right now.”
Kylie is not afraid to show off her body and face on Instagram. She has perfected her use of the selfie on the social media site. However, the Inquisitr reported recently that Jenner stirred up controversy by showing off her bosom in a photo she shared on Instagram. Because of this new photo and other appearances out with her boyfriend, the focus of Jenner’s plastic surgery rumors has moved from her lips to her breasts. Fans are now wondering if Kylie had breast implants in recent weeks.
People are not afraid to talk about the young Jenner on social media. The new no makeup selfie started people buzzing about her on Twitter. In fact, the new selfie might have backfired. Kylie was trying to prove that she had naturally full lips, but some felt that the photo only proved that she did have lip injections to create the pouty mouth.

It is clear that people watch every move Kylie makes. Her life is the source of debate no matter what she does. She shared about growing up in the public eye with Cosmopolitan.
“When I was like 10, 11, 12, I had a really hard time with the media. During your adolescence, girls deal with their peers at school, then they go home and they don’t have to deal with it [there]. It was a lot more haters to deal with … especially since I was younger and my sisters were so beautiful and had it all together. I can have my moments and say that I don’t want this life anymore, but I wouldn’t trade it for the world. The good is definitely worth the bad.”
She has admitted in the past that the plastic surgery rumors have been a source of frustration for her, but she keeps positive about herself and her life through it all. Kylie’s issue of Cosmopolitan will hit store shelves on Tuesday.
