Al Sharpton Viagra Prescription Allegedly Found During Police Rape Probe
A Viagra prescription made out to Rev. Al Sharpton allegedly popped up in a NYPD search of the apartment of Sanford Rubenstein, a prominent New York City lawyer.
Cops executed a search warrant at Rubenstein’s place in connection with a rape accusation against him by a female executive of Sharpton’s National Action Network.
Citing a lack of evidence following a three-month investigation, the Manhattan District Attorney’s office announced that it wouldn’t pursue any criminal charges against Rubenstein, 70, over an encounter that his camp claimed was consensual. Rubenstein faces a civil lawsuit filed by the woman as a result of this incident, however.
NYPD foe Sharpton at first firmly denied knowing anything about the Viagra prescription after an uncharacteristic “speechless second,” according to the New York Daily News, which apparently got the tip from a police source.
Sharpton then quickly changed his tune somewhat.
I am not saying what I do or don’t do; I’m not going to invade my privacy for some cop. I have no knowledge of what was in (Rubenstein’s) apartment. But it’s not uncommon for men of all ages to use certain things.”
He also claimed that trying to publicly humiliate him, or perhaps give him a hard time, by a leak of this nature would be a waste of effort.
If the motive of the cop was to embarrass me, at 60 years old, I am unembarrassable.”
Viagra, a.k.a. the little blue pill, is marketed as a treatment for erectile dysfunction.
Sharpton has since cut ties with Rubenstein over the rape charge.
“Rubenstein and Sharpton were once close friends, until a member of Sharpton’s National Action Network made the accusation of rape against the lawyer. The alleged rape, which prosecutors now say cannot be proven, occurred the night of Sharpton’s 60th birthday party,” the Daily Caller explained.
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Al Sharpton attempted to blow the lid off accusations by the New York Post that he shakes down businesses for racial hush money by revealing that his civil rights organization has also received cash donations from Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp. which owns the Post.
Also an MSNBC host, Sharpton seems to have become the go-to guy for New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio and President Obama with regard to civil rights issues, particularly police misconduct controversies. You may recall that earlier in his career, Sharpton was one of the principals in the Tawana Brawley hoax, and was also accused of inciting the conditions that led to the murder of Yankel Rosenbaum in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, and the fire at Freddy’s Fashion Mart in Harlem.
Do you think that Al Sharpton will be appearing in a Viagra commercial anytime soon?

“Al Sharpton’s Viagra prescription” is a string of words I was hoping to never ever have to read.
