Zsa Zsa Gabor’s Daughter Dies: Francesca Hilton Suffers Stroke, Dies Amid Legal Battle Over Mom

Zsa Zsa Gabor’s daughter has died. According to Radar Online, Francesca Hilton, 67, suffered a stroke at a restaurant in Los Angeles Monday night. Hilton had been under an extreme amount of stress, fighting with her step dad Prinz Frederic von Anhalt over her mom’s care. In fact, publicist Ed Lozzi said that his client was recently informed that she would not be allowed inside the home to visit her ailing mother.

Hilton has also had a hard time financially, and has been forced to live in her car for periods of time. When her father, hotel mogul Conrad Hilton passed away in 1979, he left only $100,000 to his daughter. The rest of his millions went to his foundation.

Despite the hardship, Hilton tried to keep her head held high.

“As Francesca’s publicist and one of her best friends I am shocked. We were on the phone minutes before she died. We were discussing her book she was writing and a possible deal. She had to go to the restroom. She never made it out,” said Lozzi.

Zsa Zsa Gabor’s health has been deteriorating for years. The former socialite, 97, has been bed-ridden for quite some time. She now has dementia and cannot speak according to Lozzi. People Magazine reported that Hilton was with her fiancé, Michael Natsis, when she started not feeling well. Natsis performed CPR after Hilton lost consciousness, but it was not enough to save her. She was rushed to the hospital where she was pronounced dead a short time later.

Hilton had been through a lot over the past several years. Her mother’s health was always at the forefront of her mind, and she was involved in several legal battles with Prinz Frederic von Anhalt, her mom’s ninth husband. Lozzi said that Hilton had discussed her legal options once again, just hours before she passed away.

Zsa Zsa Gabor hasn’t been able to have a say in what happens with her care, or what becomes of her daughter, especially since her onset of dementia. In 2012, a huge battle erupted when Hilton and von Anhalt went head to head in a conservatorship lawsuit according to the Inquisitr.

“Hilton claimed during visits with Gabor during her treatments at her home that her mother seemed heavily sedated, and that Von Anhalt restricted their communication. He denies any such claims.”

The judge ruled in favor of von Anhalt, and Gabor has remained under his supervision ever since.
